Happy New Year everybody!
So, it’s been while since I’ve posted here. As I’m sure you all know, life gets hectic, and when life gets busy some things are thrown on the backburner. But now that I am bachelor of the arts and the chaos of 2016 is behind us, I have time to focus on Enthralled In Essence. I intend to keep posts fairly regular, with album reviews, concert reviews, and maybe even news pieces for albums and tour announcements that excite me. I also intend to expand Enthralled In Essence into other mediums, such as Twitter, Instagram, and eventually YouTube. YouTube will take time, but if you use Twitter or Instagram, you can find me at @enthralledsf. Activity on those pages will commence soon.
The end of a year and beginning of the new year is always a time for reflection. Like every other music blogger on the planet, I intend to reminisce on all the great music that came in 2016. If I wanted to talk about every record I thought was cool that was released last year, it’d take months, because so much rad music came out last year. While I want to spread as much love and support to as many albums as I can, I’ve compiled a list of my favorite 25. The first post will go up shortly, but in the mean time, I at least want to leave a list of albums that I really enjoyed listening to in 2016 that didn’t make the top 25. I’ll leave a very short and inadequate description of each record, so be sure to check out any that may interest you!
